INTERNATIONAL MODEL MAGAZINE

 I started taking fashion style photos when i was 19 and quickly found i had a knack for finding unique backgrounds, posing and finding the right light to make my models look stunning. By the time i hit 35 the demand for my fashion and ad style photography increased because fashion photographers are difficult and expensive to find for the up and coming models portfolio. After a while Id had so many photographs of models looking for help and work that I started a small printed paper magazine called International Model Magazine to showcase my work, I also wanted more work for myself, and runway work for my models. So I began Maxx Models. Modeling Agency. I also began wanting a chance to shoot Top professional models too. But not just the white models, I wanted to photograph all the ethnic races of models from around the world. Black, Asian, Hispanic and European, Like Tyra Banks, Giselle, Kamora and Katrina Korsakova because Houston is such a culturally diverse city.  I began looking for model searches and fashion shows In Houston where they might attend and possibly even discover someone new. I also wanted real "Top Model" photos that id taken myself on my site. Doing some modeling myself in the past I cut and spiked my hair, and always dressed as trendy and current as possible, One day I was in my hair salon and saw pretty and exotic looking girl with a slight but unusual accent waiting for a color cut and perm. I asked her where she was from and she said, I am From Romania. As i looked closely at her with her hair a mess and no makeup I noticed she had naturally bright green eyes and asked if she'd ever done any modeling, and perhaps if i could photograph her? She said she had done some print and ad modeling before and agreed to a T.T.F.cd photo shoot, so we set a date, place and theme for our shoot. When she arrived I was floored at the transformation she'd done with her self in preparation for the shoot. That model is "Danna" and the photos Id taken were used in a Cover Girl Make up and Sony advertisement. that appear in our models gallery. That turned out to be one of the most productive shoots id ever done for my career not only because the ad quality photos but the knowledge of the industry that she shared with me. So i quickly began work on I.M.Magazine online to share my fashion photography, beauty & modeling tips, and also Danna's advice and information about the modeling world, which instantly took off online  A few months later a beautiful new girl named Sheena was hired at my place of business, After speaking with her I discovered that she was a very experienced plus sized model and was walking the catwalk in a few weeks for a local Houston fashion designer named, Jennifer Taylor of Mieshi. This was a relatively large local Houston fashion show and was asked if id Llke to attend as a press photographer for my own "International Model Magazine" of which i obviously said yes. I was allowed full access to the staging area, dressing room, hair & makeup, and all the models backstage before and after the show. It later turned out that i was the only coverage of the show. After posting the complete show coverage on my site, My career really took off and i was in high demand for photos and modeling information and was recognized everywhere. The rest is history, "International Model Magazine" Is now viewed by more than 52 countries around the world with millions of visitors each year and continues to grow
